About ICACM

ICACM marks the 10th anniversary of the Institute of Applied Mathematics (IAM) at METU and aims to highlight the recent advances in applied and computational mathematics as well as to demonstrate their applicability in science, engineering and industry. In addition to the traditional and strong focus on applied and computational mathematics, the special emphasis will be given to information security and cryptology, financial mathematics, actuarial sciences, scientific computing and their applications.

Key features of the conference include

  • Plenary and invited talks across the breadth of applied and computational mathematics;
  • Contributed talks from various fields, such as
    • Industrial mathematics (There will be a focus on application of mathematics to problems arising from industry, economy and society);
  • Poster sessions consisting of research posters presented by students, academics and industry.
